Future Internet & Media Technology

At a time when the demand on media technology is growing dramatically, and the worldwide volume of data is skyrocketing, the limits of what is technically possible in today's Internet are already in view. As a result, the scientists in this research field have taken upon themselves the goal of jointly redesigning the "Future Internet", pressing ahead with innovation in the various technologies related to communications technology, virtual reality, multimedia, computer animation, image processing, audio and video technology, and usability, and forging their ideas for a new vision.
