Welcome to the Faculty!

Lupe [1]

As a newly enrolled student, you will soon begin your studies at Faculty IV Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. For each of you, the start of your studies will certainly bring new challenges, raise a lot of questions, many things are still unknown and you may not yet have any contacts with other students here at the university.

Even with the Corona pandemic, many things are still different this summer semester, because studying & teaching, but also introductory events, will again take place mostly digitally.

To make it easier for you to get started, we are compiling important information for you here. Dear new enrollees, please check back here regularly over the next few days, as we will be continuously updating our offerings for the beginning of the semester.

Lupe [12]

Since the winter semester 2019/20, the mentoring [13] of Faculty IV has been supporting and accompanying students - initially focused on first-semester students of the Bachelor's degree programs - in all questions concerning their studies during the introductory phase. In further steps, offers for higher Bachelor's semesters and Master's students will follow.

The Mentoring website also offers helpful online information for master students about the study and student life at Faculty IV. In digital tutorials [14], e.g. for the platforms LSF, MOSES, ISIS, you can familiarize yourself with the IT systems of the TU Berlin.

Examination Boards

The Examination Board of the respective degree program makes sure that examination regulations are respected and are responsible for all related questions in this regard. The Examination Board deals with all questions concerning exams but does not provide study counseling. Please contact the Student Advisory Service [15] for all general questions regarding your course of study and application forms.

More information can be found on the website of the examination boards [16] of Faculty IV.
